IT is at the heart of our global operations. Our 500 strong team of passionate IT specialists are responsible for more than 400 sophisticated applications sitting behind our airline’s critical functions, from reservations, mobile check-in and baggage to product, customer and commercial management to aircraft flight systems and flight crew roster systems.

Our IT vision is to be the trusted partner for innovative solutions that bring a competitive advantage. We partner with business units across the organisation to complement and support the customer value propositions, whether they be in product development, regulatory and safety or passenger reservation systems.

Our specialist IT teams oversee the end-to-end delivery and support of all IT systems, applications and infrastructure for Cathay Pacific and Dragonair. Every IT project and activity makes a visible difference to the way that we conduct business, and to the way that our customers fly.

To achieve our goal of becoming the world’s best airline, we’re making long-term investments in developing the best IT systems, capabilities and experts in the aviation industry. The IT Graduate Trainee Programme is integral to this goal. It aims to develop young local IT talent who can inject fresh ideas into projects and assist in ensuring that we stay on top of leading technologies, innovations and trends that will provide a strong competitive advantage through the delivery of exceptional customer service.
