Cathay Pacific handles its own airport services in some countries and appoints local ground service handling agents in others. In a fully self-handling country, an Airport Services Manager leads a team of customer service agents to handle operations and customer services delivered at check-in counters, departure gates and arrival gates. In other countries, smaller teams are set up to supervise and ensure standards of services provided by ground handling agents.

Our international Cargo teams typically encompass two areas: Sales and Operations. Our global family encompasses over 600 mechanics and engineers operating in more than 70 ports across 30+ countries. Join one of our local teams and you’ll be responsible for keeping our aircraft moving safely through high quality engineering, problem resolution and quality assurance. Depending on which global office you’re located, you may also provide high quality engineering maintenance service to third party airlines.

Join one of our teams and you may be responsible for duties such as financial reporting; management reporting; providing business advice to local and head office management teams on business transactions and procedures; performing cost and credit controls; managing payroll; performing risk assessments; and ensuring that the local operations comply with local laws, regulations, as well as company finance policies.

Sales and Marketing
Our Passenger Sales and Revenue Management teams are responsible for the sale and distribution of airline seats. They make key decisions such as pricing and distribution strategies that directly impact our revenue. Career opportunities that exist in business account management and sales support include roles such as Sales Executive, Corporate Sales Officer and Assistant Sales Manager.
Our Marketing teams handle advertising, corporate communications, loyalty marketing and the management of online and offline channels. Our teams enjoy the challenge of marketing a world-renowned brand to diverse market segments with varying brand awareness and competition dynamics. Every person on our team requires creativity and great planning skills. The positions that we hire for at our global offices are most commonly at the officer and assistant manager levels, and span marketing communications, loyalty marketing, digital marketing and PR.
At Cathay Pacific, we believe it’s our people that make our airline. Our international HR teams are strategically positioned to make an impact in this highly critical area. On a daily basis they support HR and administration for our town office and operational teams at the airport. The scope of their work includes offering people advice to departments, conducting recruitment and employee administration duties, and ensuring legal compliance.

Cathay Pacific recruit Cabin Crew from the list of countries below. These team members will work with Hong Kong-based crew on route specific flights, however they will remain based in their home cities. For these team members, Hong Kong becomes their second home.
