Departments

It takes many teams to run a world-leading airline. Our departments work together to deliver safe and seamless operations, and a high quality customer experience. If you share our passion for aviation, your local Cathay Pacific team may be able to offer you a career in one of the following areas.

Airport

Cathay Pacific handles its own airport services in some countries and appoints local ground service handling agents in others. In a fully self-handling country, an Airport Services Manager leads a team of customer service agents to handle operations and customer services delivered at check-in counters, departure gates and arrival gates. In other countries, smaller teams are set up to supervise and ensure standards of services provided by ground handling agents.

Airports are dynamic and exciting environments to work in. Our airport teams worldwide are the faces of our brand, delivering a service that earns us a reputation as one of the best airlines in the world. Our airport teams are highly professional, friendly, and supportive. The Customer Service Officer role is a great opportunity for people who enjoy teamwork, fast-paced roles and the flexibility of shift work. Perform well and you could progress to more senior roles such as Supervisor, Airport Services Manager, and Manager on Duty.

Cargo

Cathay Pacific Group is one of the top five international air cargo carriers*, with a cargo business that accounts for over 20 per cent of its total revenue. Our international Cargo teams typically encompass two areas: Sales and Operations. Our Sales teams generate airline revenue by selling space on freighters and passenger flights, which our Operations team ensure safe and smooth operations and high standards of customer service.

Our Cargo staff members enjoy broad exposure to duties within the cargo offices, ramp, and sales functions. Some job opportunities commonly available on our team include Cargo Service Officers, Cargo Service Supervisors and Cargo Managers.
