A Rewarding Career

Being a Cabin Crew member is a challenging role and a rewarding career. Here's what you can expect when you join our team.

A career that is dynamic

Our Cabin Crew enjoy a dynamic working environment and international exposure that is unique from other careers. Being resourceful and adaptable to challenges and changes is essential. This means being empathetic to passengers’ needs and utilising your strong safety knowledge and service skills to handle many different situations. Being sensitive to different cultural expectations and personal preferences will be helpful in providing a seamless service that enhances a customer's experience.

Working in the air requires lots of physical strength and a constant awareness of safety and service needs. However, if you are well prepared physically and mentally, you will be able to turn every challenge into opportunity.

A career with a work-life balance

Our Cabin Crew members are able to achieve a good balance between work and their personal life. At times this career can be challenging, as you will occasionally need to stay alert in the middle of the night and adapt to different time zones. However you’ll still be able to enjoy a flexible lifestyle due to rostered days off, 21 days’ annual leave (minimum), and flying/ground duty allowances and per diems.

A career that’s full of learning

Our Cabin Crew maintain a strong learning culture and positive mind-set. The role requires a lifetime of learning. You will gain social confidence from formal training in safety and customer service, and on-the-job training in areas such as problem solving, food and wine, and relationship building with people from diverse cultures. Many of our team members also use their free time to pursue independent studies.

A career filled with exploration

Our large global network offers on-going opportunities to explore different destinations and experience new cultures. When not operating flights, you may choose to take advantage of generous travel-related employee benefits and spend your leisure time visiting new cities. Many Cabin Crew members lead active lifestyles, forming sports teams and taking advantage of opportunities to participate in international sports activities and charity missions.
